In December 2007, Weis Environmental made a splash at PowerGen 2007 in New Orleans. The 19th PowerGen International (the world's largest power generation trade fair) took place from December 11-13 at the Ernest L. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, LA. It was a huge success from day one, with near-capacity attendance throughout the event.
More than forty interested visitors flocked to the booth of WEIS ENVIRONMENTAL LLC on the first exhibition day, drawn mainly by the BETH Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) on display and the booth's glamorous design that set the company apart from the other exhibitors.
A fantastic outcome for the first day of an exhibition that WEIS ENVIRONMENTAL LLC attended for the first time. Business cards went like hot cakes, and towards the end of the event 90% of the copiously printed info material had been distributed or taken away - and three members of the booth staff were quite hoarse from all the explaining, presenting and chatting with visitors.
After three wildly successful days the WEIS ENVIRONMENTAL LLC booth was dismantled Thursday evening and Friday and was then shipped back to Memphis, which concluded our PowerGen 2007 adventure.
