The 2008 Fuel Ethanol Workshop and Expo
June 16-19
Nashville, TN, USA
Around 4,000 people attended the 24th Annual Fuel Ethanol Workshop and Expo (FEW) in Nashville, Tennessee, making it the world’s largest Ethanol Conference. The three day event was an exciting opportunity to gather information, meet new and existing business contacts, and get the scoop on trends and opportunities in this fast-growing market segment.
Weis Environmental was there to showcase its Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP), a cutting edge technology product especially designed to reduce emissions in processes of biomass combustion and gasification. And the show turned out to be a great success for the company!
Customers and interested parties representing key U.S. markets flocked to the impressive Weis Environmental exhibition booth, approaching our representatives with specific inquiries concerning the ESP and expressing strong interest in the product. Weis Environmental was the only attending provider for flue gas filtration behind biomass boilers, and it was obvious from customers’ reactions and brand awareness that the company has made a name for itself in this market segment.
The next U.S. event with a Weis Environmental presence will be the EBW Expo in Pittsburgh, October 14-16, 2008.
