AEROB - »First Choice in Air Filtration« since 1971
Ever since the company was founded in 1971 in Rennigen/Germany, the AEROB team has been developing filters with state-of-the-art technology and with unabated enthusiasm.
When the company joined WEIS INDUSTRIES Holding in 2004, main headquarters moved to Waiblingen, but in Factory II in Renningen, innovative solutions are still being developed around the clock.
In the same year, Lubeck-based BETH GmbH (developing groundbreaking filter technology since 1887) joined the WEIS INDUSTRIES family and now works in close cooperation with AEROB under the name of AEROB-BETH Filtration GmbH DIVISION BETH.
In 2005, the WEIS INDUSTRIES family was joined by LTG Air Engineering (founded in 1924), and »LTG-AEROB Air Engineering GmbH« was born.
There are now subsidiaries in Switzerland, Austria, North America (WEIS ENVIRONMENTAL), South America, Eastern Europe, Russia, and most recently China.
AEROB's corporate philosophy is firmly based on frankness, transparency and the promise to meet every need of our customers. Every one of our employees makes this philosophy a reality every day.
AEROB makes hazardous substances vanish into thin air, whether in the automotive industry, the food industry or the building materials industry. Whatever you produce – our sophisticated technology caters to your needs and requirements. AEROB can remove dust from whole production lines, extract chips and shavings, and purify even the most heavily polluted exhaust air.
If you need a breath of fresh air in your production facilities, WEIS ENVIRONMENTAL and its state-of-the-art AEROB technology are here for you.
LTG - »Setting standards since 1924.«
In 1924 the German engineer Dr.-Ing. Albert Klein (1880-1958), the »inventor of air engineering«, founds the first company for air technology on the European continent: »LTG Lufttechnische Gesellschaft mbH« in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen, Germany.
This event heralds the dawn of a new era of trailblazing technology that paves the way for new production methods and plays a crucial role in improving general living conditions and the quality of industrial products.
Ever since, the air engineering systems of »LTG« have served the textile industry by providing air conditioning and waste disposal systems for all stages of textile fiber production. The technological innovations of LTG textile air engineering systems still play an important part in furthering the technological development and improvement of the entire textile industry.
2005: Under the auspices of WEIS INDUSTRIES Holding, the restructured »LTG AEROB® Air Engineering« is working more efficiently than ever, pooling its strengths and focusing on unique solutions for extraordinary challenges in global air conditioning and air engineering technology.
LTG AEROB’s world-wide reputation for producing superior air engineering and ventilation technology is deeply connected to our intense focus on research and innovation, the dedication and expertise of our engineers, and the firm commitment to pursue the highest standards of safety, functionality and efficiency.
»Years Ahead of Standard Regulations.«
An essential part of the company’s philosophy is to set the power of innovation as prime mover. Many patents and a technology standard that always strives beyond the state of the art attest to this principle:
- Energy efficiency
- customer satisfaction
- dependable functionality
- problem-oriented approach
- easy operability
- progressive technological standards
BETH - »Air Pollution Control and Dedusting Technology« since 1887
Tradition and innovation – these have been the hallmarks of BETH’s history for more than a century. The company was founded in 1887 by W.F.L. Beth, an engineer from Lubeck who invented the world’s first bag filter. The patent was issued as number #38396 by the “Kaiserliche Patentamt” on January 26, 1886.
Soon, the BETH bag filter found its way into other industrial branches, and in the course of the 20th century, BETH grew to be an international leader in the sector of industrial dedusting. At first, filtration was predominantly used for improving production processes, but by and by, it also became an important factor in operational safety and pollution control – long before “environmentalism” was an international buzzword.
Reducing noxious and hazardous dust emissions made industrial production not only more economically efficient and environmentally friendly, but also more humane. Before long, the term “BETH filter” became a synonym for dedusting itself.
In July 2004, BETH’s commercial operations were taken over by AEROB Dedusting GmbH (Ltd.). The two companies merged to become AEROB-BETH Filtration GmbH (Ltd.) and are now known as the Divisions AEROB and BETH.
DIVISION AEROB manufactures vibrating bag filters and jet bag filters as well as oil/emulsion mist separators. Both divisions are part of the WEIS INDUSTRIES GmbH & Co. KG (Ltd.) corporation, which is based in Stuttgart. Thus, the know-how and expertise of both teams are pooled and integrated into one superstructure.
